Ultimate Tattoo Kit (Aftercare Protocol)

Directions:
Use while getting the tattoo: Immediately following your procedure, spray H2Ocean’s all natural sea salt 1.5oz piercing spray on a paper towel and wipe the tattoo clean. Our product is safe to spray directly on the tattoo and will not sting or burn. Do not use any alcohol based products that will start irritating and drying the area. Immediately after the tattoo has been completed have your tattoo artist use a thin coat of Ocean Care Cream on the tattoo and then bandage it. We do not recommend a plastic wrap or any petroleum because it does not allow the dermal cells to breathe.

Use after returning home: After removing the bandage, wash the tattoo every hour with warm water and a mild soap until the tattoo stops it’s oozing, “plasma cycle”. The 1.5oz spray can be used as an on the go antiseptic wash if you are not near a washing facility.  Use your fingers with medium pressure during your washes, this will help get rid of any dried secretion you may not see. The dried secretion forms a barrier layer which is the start of a scab. The dead dermal layers will form more rapidly on the first two days of healing because of the inflamed dermal cells. Washing with warm water opens the derma pores and gives your skin a deep clean. The first day H2Ocean recommends a minimum of 4 warm water washes or every hour until bedtime. Rub the Ocean Care Cream in thoroughly after each wash. Apply the Ocean Care Cream before bed.  The second day H2Ocean recommends 3 washes and up to 6 applications of Ocean Care Cream. The cream should cool down the tattoo, if it becomes irritated switch to the Ocean Foam. The third day switch to using the Ocean Foam to help lock in ink.  Use the foam 3-6 times a day. Wash every morning and before bed then apply H2Ocean. We recommend using the enzyme spray product twice daily to help in the washing process. Follow tip card directions for the rest of the healing cycle. Drying and peeling is normal after the 3rd day. After the third day you may use both the products together especially if you have dry skin.
 
Additional Aftercare Tips:
          Shake can vigorously. Spray a golf ball size of foam in your clean hand and rub in until it is completely absorbed into the tattoo. Reapply if needed to make a moist barrier over the whole tattoo. Pay special attention to areas with cracks and over worked areas.
